Ricavision New SideShow Remotes unveiled!

Ricavision has finally unveiled the VAVE100 Windows® Vista SideShow remote control that provides direct access and complete control of home entertainment devices. Probably the coolest feature of this device is the Vista Sideshow capability meaning you can use it as a secondary display for a Vista PC. If you're a heavy Windows Media center user or home automators enthusiasts, the Ricavision WAVE100 SideShow enable remote appears to be awesome. It's capable of controlling over 20 home automation devices via IR and Windows Vista PCs over the 17-meter range.

The new vista sideshow remote has a learning feature for programmable control. It also has a 2.4 inch color 240 x 320 QVGA LCD display and a shiny green MCE button and SideShow functionality. Furthmore this device has Bluetooth Class 1 connectivity and support for audio streaming. The WAV100 feature an wireless transceiver and an a RC6 receiver integrated into the docking station.

Unfortunately the Ricavision WAVE100 SideShow enable remote will not be shipped until the May 2008. Though you can preorder Ricavision's new VAVE100 SideShow remote control. Ricavision is also announcing the VAVE50 remote control with support for Windows Vista Media Center, but no SideShow features.
